New York Knicks fans, do you remember your reaction after hearing NBA commissioner Adam Silver announce Kristaps Porzingis as the team's No. 4 pick in this year's draft? Did it look something like this?

If so, it was probably the result of not knowing much about the 19-year-old out of Latvia. The comparison to Andrea Bargnani is not what Knicks fans want to hear. However, the comparison from former Los Angeles Lakers great James Worthy is definitely music to their ears. Following his Summer League debut where he scored 12 points in 18 minutes, Worthy said, “He’s a freak of nature. He’s a combination of Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Durant. It’s a good pick for the Knicks.’’

Don't toy with the emotions of Knicks fans, James! Porzingis definitely has the potential to be a solid player, but saying he is a cross between Durant and Nowitzki is a pretty lofty claim. But hey, being wildly ambitious is a very #knickstape trait, so multiple All-Star selections and possibly an MVP trophy, here we come!
