5-Year-Old Kid Receives Prosthetic Hand, Throws Out First Pitch

After receiving an Iron Man-inspired prosthetic hand, a 5-year-old kid threw out the first pitch at a Triple-A Columbus Clippers game.

Prior to Tuesday's game between the Indianapolis Indians and Columbus Clippers, Siena College students associated with e-NABLE took the mound to present five-year-old Jack Carder with a prosthetic hand created with the help of 3D printing technology. Carder, whose fingers never fully formed, leaving him with only a thumb, ran onto the Huntington Park field to get his Iron Man-inspired hand which is red and yellow and lights up in his palm.

After getting the prosthetic hand, Carder threw out the ceremonial first pitch. What an amazing moment for everyone involved. Keep up the incredible work, Siena College and e-NABLE.
