Conor McGregor has issued an apology for his actions. Now we could be talking about any number of incidents that McGregor has found himself on the wrong side of.

In this case, The Notorious spoke with ESPN's Ariel Helwani on Thursday about his altercation with an elderly man at the Marble Arch Pub in Ireland where he punched the patron after he turned down a free shot of his Proper 12 Whiskey.

If you care to hear McGregor run through his apology, you can check it out below.

"I was in the wrong," McGregor told ESPN. "That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did."

Since he's become a seasoned pro at this apologizing thing, McGregor even added some new tweaks to his statement, like some self-reflection on why he got into the sport of mixed martial arts in the first place.

"I must come here before you and take accountability and take responsibility," McGregor continued. "I owe it to the people that have been supporting me. I owe it to my mother, my father, my family. I owe it to the people who trained me in martial arts. That’s not who I am. That’s not the reason why I got into martial arts or studying combat sports. The reason I got into it was to defend against that type of scenario."

Speaking of apologies, McGregor also said he "was in the wrong" for smashing a person's phone outside of a Miami hotel.
