Over the last few years many have argued that boxing has been playing second fiddle to the fast rising popularity of mixed martial arts. However, the two highest-paid athletes of 2012 were boxers. The man at the No. 1 spot of that list was one of the biggest personalities in sports—Floyd "Money" Mayweather, Jr. His perfect record, trash-talking, marketability, and antics have all played a role in Mayweather becoming the top earner in sports.
One man that's seemingly been taking notes on all of this is Adrien "The Problem" Broner. The new WBA International Super Lightweight champ sports a respectable record of 27-1 and has a tendency to stunt on a regular basis just like the man he looks up to. But is Broner taking things too far? Following last night's rant by A.B. where the boxer called himself the "Can Man" for reasons you will eventually find out, people would respond with a definite "yes" to that question.
From flushing money down a toilet on two occasions to allegedly biting a man *insert Tyson joke here* in a Miami nightclub, Broner has made headlines among boxing and non-boxing fans for a variety of controversial reasons. Are these the actions of a 24-year-old just having fun with his millions or the ignorance of an overly cocky fighter who's yet to live up to the hype? Peep Adrien Broner's Most Ignorant Moments and judge for yourself.

Bites a Security Guard in Miami
Date: 3/19/2003
Miami is ratchet. Everyone knows this. However, just because a city has that rep doesn't mean you get to do whatever you please when you hit the club. If you get into a fight and allegedly bite a security guard in the process you will get arrested. Broner found this out the hard way a few months bac and was taken in before being released on $1,500 bond. Broner said the charges were bogus and allegedly set up by Paulie Malignaggi. Hov said it best.
Mid-Fight Dancing
Date: 2/25/2012
Call us crazy, but Broner is someone that boxing needs right now. A crazy ass dude who isn't afraid to entertain the people, anytime, anywhere. Just peep what he did in only the 4th round of his fight against Eloy Perez. Funny thing is, A.B. knocked Perez out with a devastating straight right jab in that same round.
Following the fight, Broner discussed his mid-fight dance moves, saying he should be on Dancing With the Stars. Collecting a check and making an audition tape in the ring at the same damn time? Never change, Broner. Never change.
Can You Brush My Hair?
Date: 7/21/2012
Usually, the post-fight interview is a time to discuss the fight which just took place. Usually. But, this is Broner we're talking about. And after defeating Vincente Escobedo, Broner stopped Max Kellerman right in his tracks, so he could bring his girlfriend Arie Nicole into the ring, get down on one knee and ask her to... brush his hair. Following the fight, Nicole said she took it all in stride but if you look at the 1:18 mark in the clip, oh, you can see the disappointment in her eyes.
Broner and the Stripper
Date: 3/21/2013
Where do we even begin? Even for the most ratchet patrons, going down on a stripper is a cardinal sin. It's not that you don't now where that thing's been, you know exactly where it's been. On the same poles and customer crotches that dozens of other stripper snatches have been. And that's only what they allow you to see. Yikes. Security having to pull A.B. off of her says it all. Turns out Broner's relationship with "Pretty Redz" is a little deeper than cunnilingus while Chief Keef plays in the background. *cues the soundtrack*
Flushing Money
Date: 3/22/2013
If he ever ends up going bankrupt, Broner can head down to his local library, hop on one of their computers and check out this YouTube video where the boxer idiotically flushed money down the toilet that was anything less than a $100 bill. There's not much more we can say about this because we're too busy tearing up at the sight of this monstrocity.
Beef with Paulie Malignaggi
Date: 6/22/2013
After dating Paulie Malignaggi for six or seven months, Jessica Corazon left him because, according to her, "he got a little physical" and got in the corner of Malignaggi's opponent, Adrien Broner. In the weeks leading up to the fight, Broner did his usual bragging but this time, he dished out some personal info regarding his relationship with Jessica. Ouch. Then, if that weren't enough, after A.B. defeated Malignaggi, Broner said, "I lifted his belt and his girl." And to think, Broner didn't walk out of the ring to this...
Russian Roulette With A.I.
Date: 6/24/2013
Given Iverson's troubles with money, a meet-up between A.I. and Broner should probably revolve around a heart-to-heart regarding the evils of a BMF lifestyle and how that can hurt you as you grow older. That's what would happen in an ideal world. But, for a man as down on his luck as Iverson, it's really not all that surprising to hear him throw out the idea of playing Russian roulette. This is actually more sad to watch than anything.
We want to see you back out on that court, A.I. What the hell you doing pitching Russian roulette to someone as impressionable and crazy as Broner?
His Rap Career
Date: 7/4/2013
It seems as though damn near every athlete wants to be a rapper and Broner is no different. Earlier this month, he hopped on the Versace beat under the alias A.B. and instead, dropped bars on his love for Louis Vuitton. Of course, like the many athletes who have picked up the mic before him, Broner's raps and punchlines are basic. "Your pockets will be stuffed like Chipotle burritos"? You're for real, fam?! But hey, if this rapping thing doesn't pan out and the boxing career fizzles, dude's gotta pursue a dancing career with those moves at the end. Did you stick around long enough to see that?
Flushing Money, Part II
Date: 7/13/2013
Have you ever balled out a little and when your mom sees your new purchase, she says you're just "throwing money down the toilet." Well, Broner has taken that expression seriously... twice! While on the America's Most Wanted Tour, A.B. hit up a nearby Popeye's to take a dump and share it with the world on YouTube. Then, right before flushing, dude realizes that he even craps money. Look, Broner, if you're gonna just continue to throw away $20s like this, let us give you our address because this is probably the first and only time we are literally willing to take someone's shit.
The "Can Man"
Date: 5/3/2014
If you thought losing his first career bout to Marcos Maidana in December was going to turn The Problem humble, think again. After defeating Carlos Molina, Broner took to the mic and was back to his old arrogant ways, calling himself the "Can Man" because "I'm Afri-can, I just beat the fuck out of a Mexi-can." If the A.B.'s goal is to make everyone in the world hate him, he's well on his way.
