The Sam Hinkie era came to an end earlier this week when he stepped down as the Philadelphia 76ers' general manager and president of basketball operations. Now, it appears that the 76ers are doing everything they can to put anything related to Hinkie in the rearview mirror.

During last night's game against the New York Knicks at the Wells Fargo Center, two fans, who were going to partake in the "Shoot For the Season" contest, were spotted wearing clothing that paid homage to Hinkie. However, before they could get onto the court, the Sixers made the fans remove the items.

Since the 76ers forced Hinkie out, the fans haven't been open to this new regime led by Jerry Colangelo. At all.

This form of censorship, if true, will only further drive a wedge between the Sixers faithful and the organization.
