The Dallas Cowboys have only been in training camp for a few days, but Dez Bryant's name is already right back in the news. After an offseason in which Bryant threatened to sit out the first game of the season if he didn't get a new contract, Bryant, who finally inked a new deal just before training camp, was captured throwing a punch at DB Tyler Patmon at practice today.

Apparently unhappy with how Patmon was playing him at the line of scrimmage, Bryant had to be restrained by teammates as he continued to go after Patmon even after the initial swing, even tossing his mouthguard at him.

It's hard to see, but in the video above, it looks like Patmon gets his hands up in Bryant's face while covering him on a route and ends up knocking his helmet off. The two then tussle out of bounds, and it looks like that scuffle is what led to Bryant throwing a left at Patmon in the Vine up top.

This isn't much more than your average training camp fight, but when it's Dez Bryant, his every move is magnified. Probably not the media attention the Cowboys wanted to start the season.

UPDATE: Bryant and Patmon apparently hugged it out after practice ended. Phew.
