Cam Newton likes to dance. He especially likes to dance after scoring a touchdown, and the longer his dance routine lasts, the more it seems to anger people.
So when Newton rushed for a fourth quarter touchdown against the Tennessee Titans this afternoon to put his undefeated Carolina Panthers up 27-10 and seal the game, he immediately started breaking it down in the end zone. There was some heavy dabbing involved, and after about five seconds of Newton's choreography, Titans linebacker Avery Williamson decided he'd had enough. He got up in Newton's face, and as a referee began to separate the two, Newton just kept on dabbin'.
After the game, a handful of Titans players voiced their displeasure with Newton's extracurricular activities.
Williamson also chimed in:
Newton got wind of the Titans beef, and handled it like any man on the winning side of a 27-10 shellacking would.
Can't argue with you there, Cam. And chances are, no matter how much you dislike Newton, he and his now 9-0 Panthers are going to keep right on dancing along.
