Miami's Malachi Toney Sends Woman Flying in Scary Sideline Collision Video

A viral video captures the moment a Miami Hurricanes player collided with a woman on the sidelines at the Virginia Tech game.

It wasn't intentional, but a woman on the sidelines at the Miami Hurricanes-Virginia Tech game took a hard hit from Miami's Malachi Toney.

Toney caught the ball but was pushed out of the sidelines by another player, his momentum carrying him into the unidentified woman, who went flying, according to a video that went viral on X.

The video shows the woman falling and tumbling over, but she then got up and appeared to be okay.

Fans expressed concern for the woman on X. "Be careful when on the sidelines of the football game. Watch the girl at end take a massive hit in the Miami @ Virginia Tech game today," a person wrote on X.

"That is a very hard hit. Hope she is ok," a man wrote.

According to The Spun, the incident occurred after Toney "had a 56-yard catch-and-run for the Hurricanes." The woman's name was not released.

The game took place at Virginia Tech, which lost 34-17 to Miami. It was Virginia Tech's final home game.

Who is Malachi Toney? He's a rising college football player with numerous honors.

The website notes that Toney "chose Miami over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas A&M, among others." He stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 188 pounds, according to the athletic bio.
