Jack Draper has transformed his body.
The British tennis star, who is ranked number five in the world, debuted a more muscular look at the U.S. Open in New York.
According to the BBC, Draper "resembles a WWE wrestler now."
Draper, 23, stands 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 187 pounds, his profile on the ATP Tour's website says.
Draper "hit the gym," hoping to solve "physical issues" that plagued his career, and is looking "notably ripped," the outlet wrote.
He missed the Cincinnati and Canadian Opens, which led up to the U.S. Open, due to an injury. He was eliminated in the second round at Wimbledon earlier this year.
"I have worked incredibly hard to improve my physicality on the court," said Draper. "I think part of it is my genetics and growing into a bit more of a man's body. I think that took me a long time." He told BBC he used to resist pushing himself at the gym, but he changed his mindset.
Draper played Federico Gomez in the first round of the U.S. Open on August 25.
Draper has many fans on Instagram, where his comment threads frequently fill up with heart and fire emojis.
According to Men's Fitness, Draper's "impressive physique" proves that professional tennis players need both "strength and power" to compete at the highest level in the modern sport.
"Tennis-specific exercises," can help, the site notes, adding that the key is developing "speed off the mark, agility and flexibility."
Hello! described Draper's workout routine: He "typically kicks off his day with strength and conditioning training, followed by weights," and then moves on to an outdoor "strength and endurance session" that "includes running exercises."
"I have felt better and better every Grand Slam I have played. Before I felt like my energy wasn't that strong, and I felt like I looked like a bit of a Ferrari, but I was a bit of a Toyota, like broke down quite easily," he told BBC.
