Rudy Gobert's ex-girlfriend, Julia Bonilla, has shared a veiled statement about the Minnesota Timberwolves player and her current pregnancy.

The former couple had a messy breakup back in May, which reportedly came after Bonilla and their one-year-old son, Romeo, were kicked out of Gobert's home.

Following the split, Bonilla posted several pointed remarks about the basketball star on Instagram, while Gobert tried to clarify the breakup ordeal, stating that "inaccurate information" had been spread.

But on Wednesday (October 1), the artistic director took back the narrative with an Instagram post about her pregnancy by saying that she'd been "tested" in the past few months.

"You were wanted. You were chosen. You were meant to be. I was tested in every way a woman can be tested and still, I chose love," Bonilla wrote.

"You are proof that even after betrayal, after storms, after pain, life can still grow in light," she continued. "No matter how dark the world tries to be, no matter the lies, the cowardice, no matter how much they tried to break me, you’ll always have a mother who stands unshaken and will protect you forever."

Bonilla concluded by referencing her and Gobert's older child. "Because at the end, it’s always gonna be us, you, your brother, and me. Always and forever."

In May, while calling the news about his breakup with Bonilla "inaccurate," Gobert wrote on his IG Story that the two were "in the painful process of redefining our co-parenting relationship."

"Being a father is one of the most profound and meaningful experience I will get to live. It is one of my most important life purposes and will be so forever," he said.

Around the same time, Bonilla celebrated Romeo's first birthday with an Instagram post about how her oldest child "transformed" her.

"No matter what storms come, no matter how loud the world shouts, it’s just you and me," she wrote. "I will always be your safe place, your biggest believer, and the arms that hold you steady. You are my world, my reason for everything."
