A high school teache has the opportunity to take home the gold during this weekend's Fanatics Games.
Matt Dennish, a 6'6 Philadelphia high school teacher, 39, is currently in second place between retired NFL quarterbacks Tom Brady and Eli Manning at this year's Fanatics Fest NYC, being held at The Javits Center in New York City.
If continuing his second place streak, Dennish will get to take home a 2025 Ferrari 296 GTB, valued at $500,000. If Brady maintains first place, the former New England Patriots star will walk away with $1 million, while Manning, if continuing in third place, could win a LeBron James 2003-04 Topps Chrome Gold Refractor trading card, valued at $250,000.
If neither Dennish or another fan makes the top three, the highest-scoring fan at Fanatics Fest will win $100,000.
So far, Dennish has shown that he's a champion in booths hosted by the NFL, UFC, WWE, FIFA and more, with a current score of 326, behind Brady's 399.1 and Manning's 314.5.
According to Cllct, the Red Lion High School educator ran cross-country, track and played basketball while in high school, also having exceptional athletic moments during his freshman year of college and during a Philadelphia 76ers game.
In the opening day of Fanatics Fest, Dennish managed to beat out big sports names like Russell Wilson, Rob Gronkowski and Dwight Howard. But Dennish doesn't want to race home in a sports car, opting to leave Fanatics Fest with six figures.
"I have to take the $400,000," Dennish told Clict. "I can't fit in a Ferrari!"
