The Maserati trident emblem is believed to be based off of the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna, Italy. Although we can't confirm that Olympian Gods would drive Maseratis if they A) were real and B) decided for some reason that a car was better than however gods typically travel (floating clouds?), we do know that the manufacturer is repped by another group that people worship: celebrities.
