Jim Irsay, the former owner of the Indianapolis Colts, passed away in his sleep on May 21, 2025. Now, on Thursday, July 31, his massive property located in Carmel, Indiana, has officially hit the market, and its sheer lavishness is something you have to see to believe.

The listing for the home was posted by Century 21 real estate agents Steve Decatur and Jan Sutton, with the price of the property marked at a whopping $12 million.

The completely gated estate is expansive at 9.4 acres and is located alongside the nationally acclaimed Crooked Stick Golf Course. It boasts an incredible 6 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, and comes with two different guest houses. The main residence itself is over 24,000 square feet, with an elegant stone exterior and all the luxuries you could ever imagine. Just a few of its incredible features include a covered patio, tennis court, sauna, par-3 golf course, indoor pool pavilion, and full indoor basketball court.

Whoever the future lucky owner of the home might be will have more than enough space and amenities to entertain, as the property also includes a home theater, speakeasy, and an outdoor pool area that looks more like a luxury resort.

The home is also kid-friendly, which is unsurprising as Irsay had 10 grandchildren. The kids can enjoy a custom children’s play area, a zen garden, and are sure to enjoy exploring the massive estate. A full nanny’s quarters can also be found within one of the home’s primary suites.

“Subtle touches throughout reflect Irsay’s pride in the Colts organization and his vision of home as a place of both inspiration and retreat,” said agent Decatur in a statement about the recently listed property.

“Rarely does a property of this scale, provenance, and privacy become available — a true legacy estate in the heart of the Midwest,” he continued.
