On Wednesday ex-WWE star Enzo Amore (whose real name is Eric Arndt) revealed on Twitter that the police investigation into claims that he sexually assaulted a woman was closed without any charges being filed:

Back in January, while Amore was still the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, he was accused by a woman named Philomena Sheahan of sexually assaulting her several months earlier. Sheahan's allegations led to a police investigation, and a day later, he was released from WWE. As you can see in the letter from Amore's attorney, the wrestler was allegedly not aware of the accusations until Sheahan posted them to Twitter.

For those of you reading this on a tiny screen, here's the letter in full:

At this time it is not clear what the WWE will do (if anything) in light of these new developments.
