For the second time in his career Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun has hit three home runs in a game. For the first time in his career he's done it as a verified cheater. While Braun would have to be insane to currently be using PEDs with the host of eyeballs on him (see: A-Rod) it does raise two interesting questions:
1.) If he's this good without steroids why did he ever take them in the first place?
And...
2.) Why should we care anymore?
If you're a Brewers fan who thinks we're being overly cynical just remember, he brought it upon himself. Instead of a day of celebration for the former NL favorite it's just going to be a night of Twitter jokes about a new pharmacist, gummy bears, etc. In all honesty that's how it should be.
