With the NBA season over, the offseason and its rumors have started to roll.

SNY reports that teams interested in Kyrie Irving's continue to believe that he will end up with the Nets next season. However, regardless of that belief, teams like the Lakers and Knicks don't think that that door is completely closed yet.

SNY adds that, if Kyrie does make the move to Brooklyn, then a corresponding move would see restricted free agent D'Angelo Russell unloaded by the team.

Last year, in his second season with the Nets, Russell made an All-Star team for the first time. Sources who spoke to SNY confirm that Indiana is one franchise eyeing D'Angelo. The Pacers' interest in Russell was first reported by The Athletic.

This past season Russell joined exclusive company by averaging more than 20 points and seven assists per game. He's the fourth point guard (Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, and young Derrick Rose) in the past 15 years to do so before reaching 23.

Brooklyn has been aiming to add both Irving and Kevin Durant. In order to ink two max free agents, the Nets would need to rescind the rights to Russell.
