More than two decades ago, former NL MVP Keith Hernandez made a couple of appearances on Seinfeld as Elaine's boyfriend (also later appearing in the show's series finale). Fast forward to the present day and he's still making dollars off the royalties. When pressed on how frequently he gets paid for his three appearances (again from yester-century) Hernandez told NJ.com:

Long after his scenes are sucked into the bottomless pit of TV reruns, Keith is still making greatgood decent dough. That's how royalties work.
