There has been a lot of talk about national anthems lately, and it looks like that is going to continue for awhile. On Sunday, prior to their game against the San Diego Chargers, the Kansas City Chiefs linked arms with cornerback Marcus Peters raising his right fist in the air at the end of the line.

The Kansas City players released a statement explaining their demonstration, which may or may not have been ripped off from the Seahawks, saying, "After having a number of thoughtful discussions as a group regarding our representation during the National Anthem, we decided collectively to lock arms as a sign of solidarity." The statement continued,

According to Arrowhead Pride, on Friday Peters said that he's "100 percent behind" Colin Kaepernick. He added, "It’s hard for us as we have influences on the world and all these fans around the world, once we come out like Colin did, it becomes a big huge thing like he’s disrespecting the flag. He didn’t say none of that. He spoke up about something that he felt he needed to speak up about. I salute him for that. I’m going to back him up."
