Charles Barkley Still Doesn't Believe in the Warriors, Even With Kevin Durant

Charles Barkley still thinks the Warriors shoot too many jump shots to win a championship, even though they have added Kevin Durant to their roster.

In the past, Charles Barkley has said lots of things that have upset Warriors fans and players. For example, he once said the Warriors play "girly" basketball, and during Golden State's historic 73-win run last season, he said that he thought the 1995-96 Bulls would "kill" that team if they ever played. And on Tuesday, Barkley had more to say about the Warriors during a TNT lunch, according to Bleacher Report reporter Howard Beck.

Sir Charles started by addressing the addition of Kevin Durant to the Warriors' roster. He focused on the shots KD has taken at his former team, the Thunder, and said he believes KD is trying to turn himself into a villain:

Barkley previously criticized the 2014 NBA MVP by saying that he was chasing a title by signing with the Warriors. But it seems Barkley is skeptical about how KD's time in the Bay Area is going to turn out. According to him, he still doesn't see the Warriors as a true title contender because, in his opinion, they shoot too many jumpers:

For what it's worth, it's the same reason Barkley used back during the 2014-15 NBA season when the Warriors won the title, but hey, at least he's consistent in his criticism, right?

Elsewhere, Barkley also spoke on so-called "superteams" like the Warriors and said that the only people who like them are the fans who haven't suffered the loss of a superstar yet:

If you're waiting for Barkley to give the Warriors any credit, keep waiting. It's obviously not going to happen anytime soon.
