Zion Williamson's summer league debut has been cut short. Early during his match against the Knicks, Williamson took a knee-to-knee hit that forced the Pelicans to sit him for the rest of the game. New Orleans has elected to continue the rest of summer league without Zion.

"Zion will move forward from this incident without issue," New Orleans' General Manager David Griffin said in a statement. "However, in an abundance of caution, we have made the determination that he will not appear in game action for the remainder of the NBA Summer League. He will continue to take part in training and conditioning with our performance team."

Williamson flashed his incredible potential during his short time on the court. Along with a couple of pick-and-roll dunks, Zion showed his impressive strength when he ripped the ball from New York's Kevin Knox.
