Antonio Brown's departure from the Patriots was due partly to the news that a second woman had accused the wide receiver of sexual assault. Now the New York Postis reporting that some Pats fans have threatened the journalist who first reported the story.

Sports Illustrated's Robert Klemko took to Twitter on Sunday, where he posted screenshots of Patriots fans threatening him. In the captured tweets and direct messages, the fans expose Klemko's address and phone number and tell him to "watch [his] back."

"I really hope something happens to you," one fan messaged Klemko. "LIKE SOON and it will." Fans even accused Klemko of holding the story and waiting until Brown signed with New England to run it.

Klemko broke the news that a second, unidentified woman had accused Brown of sexual misconduct last week. Brown allegedly sent the woman threatening text messages because of the piece, which led the Patriots to cut ties with the wide-out on Friday. On Sunday, AB unleashed a flurry of tweets aimed at Shannon Sharpe, Robert Kraft, Ben Roethlisberger, and more. He even shared a story documenting Klemko's harassment in a tweet that reads: "System working effectively."
