Le'Veon Bell is a man of many interests and he's taken to social media to defend himself against critics who say he shouldn't be.

"Real shit, bro, I'm tired of social media shit," Bell said in a rant posted to his Instagram account. "I'm tired of everybody telling me, 'Le'Veon, you not focused. He only want to make music. He want to play basketball. He do everything besides play football.'"

The Jets star then went on to remind people that being a professional athlete is just a job. And like every other human, players are allowed to have outside interests.

"So somebody [who] works at Target, do you think they work their 9-5, they go home and all they worry about is putting fuckin' shit on the shelf?" Bell asked. "You think [LeBron James] is waking up like he ain't having no taco Tuesdays?... Y'all think Beyonce wake up singing all day?"

Bell sat out the entire 2018 season due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers. During this time, Bell was ramping up his rap career while people wondered what his next move would be. After the season wrapped, the running back signed a four-year, $52.5 million contract with the New York Jets. Despite having a new team, Bell hasn't toned down on his other interests.
