This Louisiana high school wide receiver had no choice but to be nice in football. The Advocate reported that Green Oaks High sophomore Decoldest Crawford has committed to play football at LSU.

The 6'1", 160-pound Crawford received offers from Southern Miss, Southern, Washington State, and more, but the Shreveport native elected to stay as close to home as possible. He's the second player from the class of 2022 to commit to LSU, joining Texas safety Bryce Anderson.

While his on-field production was enough to impress the coaches at LSU, it's his name that is grabbing headlines around the country. Crawford's name first went viral when a local news outlet did a profile on him.

Initially, it was reported that the receiver's full name was DeColdest ToEvaDoIt Crawford, but ESPN's Tom VanHaaren clarified that his middle name was the decidedly less cold Juan.

This didn't stop people from toying with the idea and applauding Crawford for living up to his name.
