Antonio Brown Would Rather Buy the XFL Than Play in It: 'League Will Only Last 3 Weeks Max'

These feelings are mutual.

Antonio Brown might be out of a job at the moment, but he's not interested in taking his talents to the XFL.

AB spent his Sunday morning interacting with some fans on Twitter. When a follower asked if he would join the XFL, Brown took this as an opportunity to predict the league's demise. "I’ll buy the XFL," Brown tweeted, "tell [Vince McMahon] his league will only last 3 weeks max."

These feelings are mutual. In September, an XFL spokesperson told Pro Football Talkthat the league is not interested in adding the troubled superstar to any of its rosters. Although AB is a once-in-a-generation talent, his controversial antics and the sexual assault allegations against him has led to his league exile. He went after Patriots owner Robert Kraft on Twitter after he was cut from New England. During this same firestorm, Antonio Brown insisted that he was retired from the NFL, only for his agent to say otherwise.
