Tom Brady tried out a new look as he walked into U.S. Bank field on Sunday before his New England Patriots took on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

Rocking a gray peacoat with a popped collar and dark sunglasses, the Patriots quarterback walked through the tunnels of the stadium with a villainous appearance that immediately caught the attention of Twitter.

Brady backed up the confident look by telling reporters that he will be back for the 2018 season regardless of the game's outcome—putting to bed any lingering rumors that he would make a grand exit from the league following a Patriots victory.

"Yeah, you’re gonna see me playing football next year," Brady explained. "I don’t envision not playing. You’re at the end of the race but you’ve got your biggest mountain to climb right at the end. Hopefully all the lessons we’ve learned have allowed us to be at our very best for this moment and that’s what it’s going to take and that’s what we’re prepared for and that’s what I go out and expect our team to do."

That's great to hear. But, let's get back to this ridiculous peacoat and sunglasses combination. What was he even going for? Beyond the obvious Bond villain resemblances, Twitter also described the look as "very obviously two kids in a trench coat" and piled on more classic movie villain comparisons.
