Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak has reportedly held meetings with the Las Vegas Raiders in hopes of landing a head coaching position with the franchise, according to ESPN. Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Kubiak could become the team’s fifth head coach in just as many years, if a deal is reached. However, any such deal cannot be confirmed until after the Super Bowl.

For the time being, Kubiak, who is the son of former Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak, will be hoping to see his current team win their first Super Bowl in 12 years. He joined the Seahawks squad in January 2025 after spending a season in New Orleans. This marks his 13th season working in the NFL.

Kubiak has had quite a successful year in Seattle, and is credited with helping form one of the best offenses in the NFL. Per ESPN, Kubiak’s dedication to the team hasn’t gone unnoticed; he is a finalist for the Associated Press Assistant Coach of the Year award.

As for Las Vegas, it’s no secret that the team is on the hunt for its next head coach after firing Pete Carroll at the end of the 2025 season. Carroll only coached the team for one season. Prior to that, Carroll had more than a dozen seasons coaching none other than the Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks are set to take on the New England Patriots in a Super Bowl XLIX rematch. The two teams met back in 2015, and while the game seemed to be going in Seattle’s favor, New England took home the W thanks to an incredible play by Malcolm Butler. The Pats beat the Hawks 28-24.

Super Bowl LX will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Eastern time.
