Jordyn Woods and Karl-Anthony Towns are engaged. The couple made the announcement via Instagram.
"Marry Christmas 🎄❤️💍," they captioned the post, which was shared on both of their Instagram accounts. In the carousel, Towns is seen proposing to Woods at New York City rooftop bar Overstory. The couple posted the images shortly after Towns helped the New York Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in a Christmas Day thriller.
Both Woods and Towns have been very public about the bond they share, one which was undoubtedly strengthened when Woods helped Towns deal with the death of his mother in 2020.
"I think it's kind of cool dating your best friend,” Woods said on her show Regular-ish. "We know each other. We know each other's hearts. We know each other on good days and bad days and we've been through a lot of bad days together."
"Me and Jordyn met years ago knowing common people and just became friends," Towns said on that same show. "And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. I'm not saying in that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship."
