Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas believes that he has the acting chops to appear in a sequel for Space Jam. The 1996 intergalactic-cartoon basketball cult classic had appearances from NBA legends including Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues and former NBA dunk-posterized center Shawn Bradley.
Now that the sequel has been long-rumoured to be green-lit, and current NBA stars Lebron James and Blake Griffin who have showed interest for their cameos in the new version of the film. The 5-foot-9 Isaiah Thomas is now joining their company, wanting a role in the flick. The character that 5-foot-3 Muggsy Bogues played in the first Space Jam is what Thomas stated that he wanted to be casted for on Twitter:
