But that didn’t stop the Inter Miami star from living his best life with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, on a boat in Florida. Roccuzzo took to Instagram to share a few shots of herself and her husband of seven years.
Messi donned red trunks and a medical shoe on his right foot, and the mother of three wore a hot pink bikini. According to TMZ, the pair were joined by his Inter Miami teammate Luis Suarez and his wife, Sofía Balbi.
It’s unknown how long the 37-year-old will sit on the bench until he’s healed. He suffered a ligament ailment when his team played Colombia on July 14.

A few days before his injury, old photos of Messi bathing a baby were making the rounds online—and it turned out that the baby was none other than Lamine Yamal. The 16-year-old is a rising Spanish footballer who plays for FC Barcelona and Spain’s national team, and recently became the youngest goalscorer in Euros history.
The photo was taken in 2007 when Messi was just 20 years old. Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, shared the image on Instagram, captioning it, “The beginning of two legends.”
