LeBron James and Kevin Love’s relationship got off to a rocky start when Love was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014. Though they've since gotten on the same page (winning a championship will do that), it looks like Love's relationship with the rest of the Cavs might be facing similar growing pains.
On Saturday, the team got blown out by Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder, capping off a brutal stretch for a team once expected to breeze through the Eastern Conference . Love reportedly felt ill and left the game after playing just three highly ineffective minutes. He also missed practice on Sunday.
But not everyone on the Cavs was buying what Love was selling. The team held an "emotional meeting" on Monday, where they challenged the veracity of Love’s illness. According to Associated Press reporter Tom Withers, Love had this to say:
