Jordon Hudson is all in on Bill Belichick.
A report from The Washington Post reveals that the 24-year-old wrote an emotional letter to her cheer team last winter after deciding to quit. She had instead chosen to follow Belichick following his accepting the head coaching position with UNC's football team.
In the same letter, Judon also reportedly apologized to her team for the controversy surrounding her relationship with Belichick.
“I hope you can all understand that my absences were symptomatic of my commitment to put the needs of my other ‘team(s)’ above my own need for recreation,” she wrote. “Selfishly, I would have preferred to be in the gym, with all of you, doing what I love: cheerleading.”
She then said sorry for “all of the ‘baggage’ that comes with having me around; from the interlopers at practice, to the subsequent media exploitation, to the lack of dependability.”
“During this time,” she added, “I have faced a slow, exterior erasure of my strong, individual identity. I can’t thank you [enough] for helping keep that in tact by embracing me, for me. It is so difficult for me to give up my time with you, because I feel like I am giving up a part of myself in the process.”
Hudson was a flyer for the ECE Blackout in Massachusetts. Prior to that, in high school, she was a star cheerleader, and in college, at Bridgewater State, she was on the 2021 Division III National Cheerleaders Association national championship squad.
Beyond moving to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for her man, Hudson has also become the 73-year-old’s manager of his personal brand. The pair have known each other since 2021 and have been romantically linked since 2023. They confirmed they were dating last June.
Their relationship came into the spotlight during a recent CBS Sunday Morning interview, when Hudson interrupted host Tony Dokoupil’s inquiry about how they met. "We're not talking about this," she said before Belichick had a chance to respond.
Also interwoven in The Post’s story is Hudson's recent participation in the Miss Maine USA Pageant, in which she placed third.
