Deion Sanders still isn’t 100 percent following news of his recent health issues.

Sanders appeared in his son Deion Jr.’s YouTube vlog, where his daughter, Shelomi, convinced the 57-year-old to get in their outdoor ice bath. Prime Time initially hesitated.

“You know I'm still going through something. I ain't all the way recovered,” he said. He then got into the bath a couple of times with Shelomi before claiming the ice water hurt.

Regardless of his undisclosed health ailment, Sanders appears to still be fairly active. In the vlog, he plays tennis and goes on a 1.3-mile run with his daughter, saying he did “the best” he could.

In June, the Colorado Buffaloes head coach revealed that he was canceling some appearances due to an “unspecified health issue.” He instead returned to his home in Texas and missed CU’s annual slate of summer football camps.

Though Sanders was tight-lipped about his well-being, Deion Jr. shared some insight during a YouTube livestream.

“He’ll tell y’all soon enough what he going through, what he went through,” Deion Jr. said. "When we get back in Boulder, I don’t know. I’m waiting until my dad leaves. When he leaves, then I’ll go. Until then, I’m gonna sit here with him."

The NFL Hall of Famer has previously dealt with some health issues. In 2023—the same year he became the Buffaloes head coach—he underwent emergency surgery for blood clots in his legs. Two years prior, Sanders had two toes amputated due to blood clots.

Later, on July 9, Sanders reassured his fans that “everything is okay,” while appearing at the Big 12 Conference media day, per TMZ.
