The WWE is kicking off the New Year with a bang.
On Friday night, the sports entertainment giant released the official promo video for its 2022 Day 1—a pay-per-view event that will include a number of must-see matchups. The event will go down this Saturday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The WWE has enlisted one of the city’s biggest artists to star in the promo.
“This right here is Day 1. A new year, a new opportunity,” Migos’ very own Quavo says in the trailer. “And what you do tonight—in my city of Atlanta, in front of all these people—becomes the blueprint for your tomorrow.”
The WWE Day 1 event will include a rematch between Roman Reigns and former world champion Brock Lesnar. It will also see Big E defend his WWE Championship against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley; while Becky Lynch will go head-to-head with Liv Morgan. Other matchups include Edge vs. The Miz, Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss, as well as Cesaro and Ricochet vs. Sheamus and Rudge Holland.
Day 1 can be live-streamed at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock. Quavo and his fellow Migos members—Takeoff and Offset—will also make an appearance during the event.
