Matthew Stafford’s wife Kelly has been using Instagram to display her frustration with her husband’s 2015-16 NFL season a lot lately. Just last week, she called some Lions fans out for turning their backs on Stafford with this post:
And now, she’s moved on to addressing the NFLreferees that cost the Lions a chance at beating the Seahawks on Monday night.
Sometime on Tuesday, she posted a text message exchange that she had with Stafford on Instagram, and we learned two things from that exchange: 1) That Stafford signs all his texts to his wife with “Xo” (awwww!), and 2) That Kelly thinks NFL refs are “incompetent”:

She has since deleted the post, but we now know how she (and maybe he?) feels about the NFL referees right now. What we don't know is what Stafford said in response to her text. But whatever it was, it probably didn't come with an "Xo."
