Outside of being one of the most promising young big men in the NBA, Karl-Anthony Towns also has a big personality. He might not get to show it off much—that tends to happen when you play in Minnesota—but as we found out earlier this year, he’s a great interview.
Last night, Shaq interviewed him following the Timberwolves’ win against the Lakers (Towns went for 26 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks) and, at one point during the interview, KAT mimicked the “barbecue chicken” line that Shaq always uses. Shaq responded to it by laughing—and by referring to Towns as a “7-foot Drake.”
