Gilbert Arenas Rips Ex-Fiancée Laura Govan, Says She Spends $20,000 in Monthly Child Support on Clothes for Instagram

About seven or eight years ago, long before Basketball Wives was a thing, I wrote a story for a magazine about Gilbert Arenas and his longtime girlfriend Laura Govan. During separate interviews with both of them, they talked—and even joked—about how many problems they had endured at the start of their relationship and about how, from time to time, those problems continued to give them issues.

It's 2015 now, and while Arenas and Govan are currently separated after going through a very messy separation last year, those problems haven't gone away. In fact, from the outside looking in, it appears as though they've gotten way worse for the former couple. They have four children together, so while they're no longer together, they're connected to one another forever, and they continue to bicker through social media.

Most recently, Arenas took to Instagram last night to blast his ex-fiancée—and to respond to all of the people out there who think he's a deadbeat dad. As Arenas has been known to do, he posted a lengthy caption on IG about how much financial support he has provided for his children before accusing Govan of spending the $20,000 that he gives her for child support every month on clothes for Instagram.

"She gets 20k to buy her self clothes for #IG for u fucks to hit the like button," he wrote.
