Earlier this week, Steph Curry decided to bring his 2-year-old daughter Riley to a press conference after the Warriors beat the Rockets in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. And she acted like, well, a 2-year-old. She interrupted Curry several times, told him to "be quiet" at one point, and even climbed underneath the table that her dad was seated at by the end. It was enough to force several reporters (and, of course, Skip Bayless!) to question whether or not NBA players should be allowed to bring their kids to press conferences. And it ended up putting Riley's name in the news for an entire day.

That being said, things could be a lot worse for Curry. His daughter made headlines for being so adorable that she stole the show from the Most Valuable Player in the NBA. But over the years, we've seen other athletes' kids steal the spotlight from their parents by doing things that were way worse. Here are 25 Times Famous Athletes Were Embarrassed by Their Kids.

Marcus Jordan, Son of Former NBA Player Michael Jordan

What he did: Propositioned a porn star on Twitter, got arrested for causing a disturbance outside of a hotel in Nebraska, and shared a photo of his penis on social media—in the span of just over a year

When he did it: Various times

Why it was stupid: Admittedly, life can't be easy when you're the son of the G.O.A.T. But when your dad is MJ, you have to know that every wrong move you make is going to be blown out of proportion, right? Apparently not, because Marcus has found himself in the news for all the wrong reasons too many times over the last few years.

Josie Canseco, Daughter of Former MLB Player Jose Canseco

What she did: Hit a curb while driving and was arrested for DUI

When she did it: March 2015

Why it was stupid: Getting arrested for DUI under normal circumstances is stupid. But Josie did it when she was just 18. We don't imagine it's been a good look for her modeling career.

Connor Bird, Son of Former NBA Player Larry Bird

What he did: Allegedly threw his cell phone at his girlfriend during an argument and then tried to mow her down with his car when she attempted to walk away

When he did it: February 2013

Why it was stupid: Prior to this unfortunate incident, Bird was also arrested in 2011 for underage drinking and disorderly conduct. So this made his rap sheet look even worse than it already did.

Hana Ali, Daughter of Former Boxer Muhammad Ali

What she did: Stole several bedding items from a Linens & Things store and tried to change the price tag on a $69.99 picture frame

When she did it: September 2002

Why it was stupid: Her father made plenty of money both during and after his career. That's not to say that he gave all of it to his kids. But wouldn't you think he'd be willing to spring for a new comforter set for his daughter? Especially if it meant keeping her name—and more specifically, his name—out of the news.

Steven Nicklaus, Son of Golfer Jack Nicklaus

What he did: Drove drunk on a highway in Pennsylvania—a highway that was (welp) renamed in his father's honor

When he did it: July 1981

Why it was stupid: Drunk driving is stupid, regardless of what road you do it on. But drunk driving on a road that's been renamed after your father is remarkably stupid.

Nick Bollea, Son of WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan

What he did: Crashed his father's Toyota Supra while driving drunk and caused one of his friends to suffer debilitating injuries, which resulted in him getting arrested on a felony reckless driving charge

When he did it: August 2007

Why it was stupid: Hulk's son was driving so fast that, after crashing into a palm tree, the Supra reportedly disintegrated. He was fortunately OK after the crash. But his friend requires 24-hour care now because of the eye and brain injuries he sustained.

Edson Cholbi do Nascimento, Son of Former Soccer Player Pelé

What he did: Laundered money for a gang in Brazil

When he did it: Early 2014

Why it was stupid: We don't know what was more painful for Pelé—undergoing surgery to remove kidney stones in 2014 or finding out that his son had been sentenced to more than 30 years in prison less than a week later. They both sound excruciating.

Lawrence Julius Taylor, Son of Former NFL Player Lawrence Taylor

What he did: Engaged in sexual relations with two females under the age of 16 and got arrested on several very serious charges including statutory rape, child molestation, and sodomy

When he did it: July 2013

Why it was stupid: Do we even need to explain this one? LT's son was just sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Taylor Mattingly, Son of Former MLB Player Don Mattingly

What he did: Shoved his mother and spit in her face

When he did it: July 2009

Why it was stupid:Mattinglysnapped on his mom after she—get this—refused to pay for his cable TV anymore. Sounds reasonable, right? Uhhh...

Sierra Pippen, Daughter of Former NBA Player Scottie Pippen

What she did: Got arrested twice within a month for fighting with a security guard at a hotel and for urinating on the floor of the lobby in the same hotel

When she did it: April 2015

Why it was stupid: The first time she got arrested, it actually flew under the radar. Lucky her! But then, she got busted again and the media was all over it.

Jack Elway, Son of Former NFL Player John Elway

What he did: Ripped a patch of his girlfriend's hair out and attacked her violently during a domestic dispute

When he did it: May 2014

Why it was stupid: Outside of the fact that it's never OK to hit a woman in the way that Elway reportedly did, the NFL was just starting to deal with a major domestic violence problem at this time.

Jay and Mark Penske, Sons of Former Race Car Driver Roger Penske

What they did: Tried breaking into a yacht club in Massachusetts after urinating in the parking lot outside of it and pushing a woman who attempted to stop them

When they did it: June 2014

Why it was stupid: It would have been one thing if the brothers were, say, 22 when they did this. But at the time, Jay was 33 and Mark was 35. What were they doing running around and acting like a couple of stupid college kids?

Chris Havlicek, Son of Former NBA Player John Havlicek

What he did: Solicited a prostitute on the Internet and then tried to bribe detectives once he was arrested for doing it because he "didn't want his wife and kids to find out what he had done"

When he did it: December 2013

Why it was stupid: Trying to bribe police after you get arrested is never the right move. Especially after you've been caught red-handed like Havlicek was.

Kevin McEnroe, Son of Former Tennis Player John McEnroe

What he did: Attempted to buy cocaine, painkillers, morphine pills, and an anxiety medication from a drug dealer in New York City before being arrested a short time later

When he did it: July 2014

Why it was stupid: His mother, actress Tatum O'Neal, spent the better part of two decades battling drug addiction. It's why his father won custody of him and two of his siblings way back in 1995.

Nate Montana, Son of Former NFL Player Joe Montana

What he did: Was one of 11 Notre Dame athletes who got arrested for underage drinking during a party

When he did it: July 2010

Why it was stupid: At the time, Montana was fighting to hold on to the backup quarterback spot on the Fighting Irish's roster. His arrest didn't directly affect that. But he slid down the depth chart the following season and ended up transferring out of Notre Dame.

Tristen Nash, Son of WWE Wrestler Kevin Nash

What he did: Fought with his father and then attacked his mother after his father got arrested for fighting with him

When he did it: December 2014

Why it was stupid: Aren't the holidays supposed to be a happy time? Not in the Nash household. Both father and son ended up behind bars a couple days before Christmas last year for getting into it.

David Casper, Son of Former Golfer Billy Casper

What he did: Committed about 30 armed robberies in the San Diego area

When he did it: November 1999

Why it was stupid: As if committing a string of armed robberies wasn't bad enough, Casper almost got into a gigantic shootout with police when they finally tracked him down in Las Vegas. The only reason he didn't start firing was because he was with a woman at the time of his arrest and didn't want her to be involved in a shooting.

Olivia Namath, Daughter of Former NFL Player Joe Namath

What she did: Got caught driving around with marijuana and liquor in her car when she was just 19

When she did it: June 2014

Why it was stupid: To be clear, Namath didn't get hit with a DUI or DWI charge, which was great. But she allegedly had rum, beer bottles, and bags of weed stashed throughout her car, which led police to believe that she was up to no good.

Jonathan Spencer Jr., Son of Former NASCAR Driver Jimmy Spencer

What he did: Poured paint on two cars and got arrested on an injury to personal property charge

When he did it: October 2004

Why it was stupid: Spencer also ended up getting his dad into trouble. When the cops showed up to arrest him, his father was arrested, too, for trying to interfere with police officers. As a result, he was fired from Morgan McClure Motorsports a few days later.

Eric Mathis, Son of Former NFL Player Terance Mathis

What he did: Robbed a bank in New Mexico

When he did it: March 2014

Why it was stupid:Terance Mathis was a Pro Bowl NFL player who spent more than a decade in the league. It seems crazy that his son needed to resort to robbing banks to get his hands on money.

Kyle Long, Son of Former NFL Player Howie Long

What he did: Drove drunk during his freshman year at Florida State University, quit playing baseball, and dropped out of school, all within a very short period of time

When he did it: January 2009

Why it was stupid: Oddly enough, this incident eventually helped reignite his passion for football, which led him to Oregon and, later, the NFL. But at the time, Long looked like he had thrown away a couple of huge opportunities after getting busted for DWI.

Darius McClinton-Hunter, Son of MLB Player Torii Hunter

What he did: Was charged, along with three other boys, with sexual assaulting two girls and forced his dad to take a very public leave of absence from the Angels

When he did it: May 2012

Why it was stupid: Fortunately for McClinton-Hunter, one of the girls recanted her story later. But the initial accusation harmed both his reputation and his father's reputation and he's been tied up in legal battles ever since trying to restore his name.

Kellen Winslow II, Son of Former NFL Player Kellen Winslow

What he did: Went on a now-epic rant after a University of Miami game that included him referring to himself as a "fucking soldier"

When he did it: November 2003

Why it was stupid: It has unfortunately become the defining moment of his disappointing football career. His father was also one of the best tight ends in NFL history, but anytime you hear the name "Kellen Winslow," chances are you think about the "soldier" rant and not the elder Winslow's amazing career.

Michael James Skinner, Son of Former NASCAR Driver Mike Skinner

What he did: Sold cocaine, marijuana, steroids, and Valium out of his North Carolina home at the age of 22

When he did it: November 2000

Why it was stupid: At the time, Skinner was trying to launch a racing career. The drug charges against him didn't help and, to make matters worse, police actually found some drugs stashed away in one of his race cars.

Reid Flair, Son of WWE Wrestler Ric Flair

What he did: Was arrested for everything from assault and battery to DWI to felony drug possession

When he did it: Various times

Why it was stupid: Sadly, Flair—who spent some time wrestling with WCW and also competed in All Japan Pro Wrestling—died of a drug overdose in 2013 at the age of just 25. So tragic.
