Former MLB Player David Justice Denies Abusing Ex-Wife Halle Berry, Claims She Tried to Ruin His Reputation

Last week, TMZ reported that Halle Berry had filed for divorce from her husband Olivier Martinez after two years of marriage. The soon-to-be-former couple released a joint statement indicating their plans to go their separate ways.

Last night, Berry’s ex-husband David Justice—who was married to Berry from 1993 through 1997—took to Twitter to address the situation. Apparently, some media outlets have mentioned the former MLB player's name in reports about Berry’s divorce and brought up the fact that Berry once talked about being abused by a former boyfriend. Over the years, people have speculated that Berry may have been talking about Justice while discussing domestic violence, and he sounds like he’s upset that she has never spoken up on his behalf.

During a brief Twitter rant, he denied being the boyfriend who abused Berry (while simultaneously alluding to the fact that Berry may have been referring to Wesley Snipes) and also claimed that Berry’s team attempted to destroy his reputation after he got divorced from her.
