Watch Craig Sager Get a Standing Ovation From the Crowd During Game 6

Craig Sager got a standing ovation from the crowd at Quicken Loans Arena during Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

As we told you on Wednesday, ESPN arranged for Craig Sager to work his very first NBA Finals game on Thursday night during Game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Even though Sager is technically employed by TNT, ESPN and Turner came to an agreement that allowed for Sager to work the sidelines in Cleveland. And he’s making the most of the opportunity.

Sager did an interview with NBA TV prior to the game:

He spoke with Steve Kerr at the end of the first quarter and got him to crack a joke despite being down 20 points:

And during a timeout in the second quarter, the entire crowd at Quicken Loans Arena gave Sager a standing ovation when he was shown on the Jumbotron:

Those in attendance enjoyed the moment as much as Sager did:
