Chris Bosh has been forced to miss a significant amount of time on the basketball court over the last two NBA seasons as a result of blood clots. He first dealt with a blood clot in his lung back in early 2015 and was diagnosed with additional clots in early 2016. But in the first episode of his new Uninterrupted original series, Rebuilt, Bosh made it sound like he was ready to get back on the court. He admitted that doctors had once told him that his career was "probably over," but he sounded resilient and prepared to make the jump back into the NBA.

It appears as though Bosh won’t be re-joining the Heat during training camp, though. On Friday morning, the AP reported that Bosh failed a physical with the team and will not be cleared for training camp:

And the Miami Heraldis also reporting that Bosh is dealing with yet another blood clotting issue. According to a source who spoke with the Herald, tests have revealed evidence of more blood clots and doctors believe the issues are closely related to Bosh’s first two blood clot scares. The latest blood clots aren’t believed to be life-threatening, but the Herald reports it would be "unrealistic" for Bosh to play with them.

The AP spoke with Bosh’s former Heat teammate Dwyane Wade on Friday, and he said he has told Bosh to "focus" on his health instead of playing basketball:

The Heat's statement on Bosh's failed physical can be read below.
