Just about everything has gone right for Cam Newton over the last few months. He has led the Panthers to the best record in the NFL. He has positioned himself to be named NFL MVP. He has even welcomed his first child into the world! So he was kind of due for a fail, and he experienced one last night during a basketball game at his alma mater Westlake High School in Atlanta, Ga.
During a break in the action, Newton decided that he was going to shoot a three-pointer. He’s obviously an excellent athlete, so knocking down a three shouldn’t have been a problem. But after bouncing a basketball a few times, he launched it, and…

Ouch. That was painful to watch. But oh well. You can’t win at everything, Cam, right?
