Where is Bill Simmons going to land at next? That's the question that everyone has been asking since he parted ways with ESPN in the spring. And now, it seems we finally have an answer.
Simmons is going to join HBO in the fall. According to the network, which put out a press release a short time ago, he is going to begin hosting a talk show for HBO in 2016. He will also have a production deal with HBO and will film video podcasts for them. His multi-year contract with HBO will begin in October.
"It's no secret that HBO is the single best place for creative people in the entire media landscape," Simmons said in the press release. "It was hard to imagine being anywhere else."
