Cue the speculative and skeptical emoji.

The Patriots proved once again that they were the decade's most successful franchise when they beat the Chiefs to make their fifth straight AFC Championship game. They're still one of the decade's biggest heels, and that'll continue thanks to head coach Andy Reid's claims.

After the loss, Reid said the Chiefs experienced headset issues during the first half. Specifically, it was screwing up communications between the coaches and quarterback Alex Smith, saying the headsets cut out “just a little bit, not much.”

It's a minor inconvenience in most cases. It's a bigger deal here because, for one, the Patriots have a history of shadiness; and secondly, the Steelers also had similar issues in Week 1 at Gillette StadiumMike Tomlin said that his headset somehow picked up the radio broadcast of the Patriots game.
