Stephen Curry Says Warriors Are Better Than They Were Last Year

Stephen Curry Says Warriors Are Better Than They Were Last Year

The Golden State Warriors improved to 5-0 on the young season with a 112-108 win over the Clippers on Wednesday, but this one wasn't as easy as all the rest.

Coming off of a 50-point win over the Grizzlies, the Warriors actually trailed in this one by 10 points with under eight minutes to play, before Stephen Curry scored 13 points in the game's final six minutes to deliver a victory that has become expected of this team entering every one if its contests.

"We don't really get concerned. Ten points? We cover 10 points in a couple minutes," Draymond Greenpointed out afterward.

Golden State was historically great last year, winning 67 games during the regular season, finishing first in the league in defense and second in offense before strolling through the playoffs and beating LeBron James and the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

The scary thing is, Curry believes the Warriors are even better this year.

"We're better than we were last year," Curry said. "I think we're just more composed. We get off to better starts."

There's no better way to start the season than with a perfect 5-0 record, and until the Warriors suffer a loss or two (or show any signs of weakness), there's no argument to be made against Curry's comments.
