Senator Harry Reid has been one of the more vocal in the ongoing battle to get the Washington Redskins to change their name, and took the opportunity during a recent interview with CNN to bash the team's owner, Daniel Snyder, for trying to "bribe" some Native Americans who live in the state that he represents.

Back in March of 2014, Snyder created the Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation, which many viewed as an attempt to buy support within the community in order to reduce the controversy surrounding his team's name. That's likely what Reid was referring to when he made this most recent accusation.

It almost seems as though Reid is more upset by the "little cars" that were offered than by the alleged bribe attempt itself. Either way, this is simply more political grandstanding about an issue that the NFL seems to have little interest in tackling anytime soon.
