Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson used the Rock Bottom as his signature finishing move during his days as a professional wrestler, and it appears as though someone in the world of MMA was paying close attention.

At the Pancrase 271 event last weekend, Luis Alberto Nogueira used the move to KO Yuki Baba in the first round.

In case you have any doubts that this was indeed inspired by The Rock, check out this compilation video of him performing the move over the years. The only surprise here is that it's taken this long for someone to integrate the move into an actual MMA fight.
