Josh Allen is vocalizing his desire to bring free agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Buffalo Bills.

In a new interview with Complex's Kameron Hay, the Bills QB made it clear he'd be on board with welcoming Hopkins to Buffalo. When asked if he's had a chance to chat with the five-time All-Pro wideout about potentially joining the Bills, Allen had nothing but great things to say about Hopkins.

"I think it's a situation where anytime there's an All-Pro receiver out there, you want that guy on your team," Allen shared. "He's only going to make your team better. Obviously if it fits, it fits. If it doesn't, it wasn't meant to be and I know there's some business that goes in on it too."

Allen continued by saying that he, like every other quarterback, "would never be opposed to adding more weapons," and for good reason. Hopkins, 31, is one of the best wide receivers of the past decade, as the former Texans and Cardinals wideout earned three first-team All-Pros and two second-teams in the span of six seasons (2015-20).

"But as a quarterback myself, I would never be opposed to adding more weapons. Especially a guy at his caliber, he has done it at such a high level for such a long time that you'd be crazy to not want him on your team," Allen told us. "So again, that part isn't up to me. It's up to the front office and DeAndre himself. But I'm not gonna say no to that guy."

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Allen expressed his desire to welcome Hopkins as a teammate. While making the media rounds to promote Madden 24—which features the Bills quarterback on the cover—Allen called DeAndre a "heck of a talent and heck of a player," adding, "We'd love to have him."

Meanwhile, Hopkins has also indicated he's a fan of Allen, which he shed light on during a recent appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast.

"One of my favorite quarterbacks that I've been watching since he came into the league is Josh Allen," Hopkins said. "He reminds me of a new-school Andrew Luck. I love Josh Allen."
