Snoop Dogg is the latest celebrity to join Colin Kaepernick's Million Dollar Pledge, as the artist has donated a total of $25,000.

Snoop initially matched Kaepernick's $10,000 donation to Mothers Against Police Brutality. The quarterback-turned-activist explained the deal in an Instagram post:

The rapper quickly called up Kaepernick to donate another $15,000 to make his total $25,000. "Thank you, Snoop for recognizing the good work this organization is doing in the community to be a voice for justice for victims of police brutality and deadly force," Kaepernick said.

Kaepernick first announced the Million Dollar Pledge in September 2016, promising that he will help charities that are actively supporting oppressed communities. In addition to Snoop, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Jesse Williams have also donated to the cause.
