WWE fans witnessed a significant shift in the women’s division on Saturday night when Jade Cargill officially captured her first singles title.

During Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday, November 1, Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton to claim the WWE Women’s Championship — ending Stratton’s run and signaling a new era for SmackDown’s women’s roster.

The highly anticipated match was short but decisive. Cargill came in focused, taking advantage of Stratton’s lingering knee injury to dominate from the opening bell. While Stratton attempted to rally with a Swanton that got the crowd on their feet, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.

Cargill’s strength and precision led to a clean victory in just over five minutes. The result established her as a legitimate threat in the division, adding new momentum to a title scene that had been relatively stagnant in recent months.

Cargill’s win marked one of the night’s few title changes, and her performance showcased a new edge to her in-ring persona. By targeting Stratton’s injury early, she balanced power with tactical awareness — traits that could define her reign moving forward.

The win also leaves Stratton’s next chapter uncertain, as many expect the former champion to reset and rebuild going into 2026.

The rest of the four-match card was equally high stakes, with every bout featuring a championship on the line.

Cody Rhodes opened the night by defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Despite McIntyre’s best efforts, Rhodes retained after a grueling 18-minute contest that saw him rely on the championship belt itself to secure the win.

In another title bout, Dominik Mysterio held onto his Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat against Rusev and Penta. The match mixed Rusev’s power with Penta’s aerial offense, but Mysterio’s ring awareness proved decisive once again.

The evening closed with CM Punk defeating Jey Uso to capture the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, left open following Seth Rollins’ injury. The main event started slow but built to a dramatic finish, with Punk reclaiming the title for the second time this year.
