Venus Williams is officially married — and she did it her way, celebrating her union with actor and producer Andrea Preti through two separate wedding ceremonies held months apart in Italy and Florida.
According to details shared exclusively with Vogue, the tennis legend and Preti first exchanged vows on September 18 in Ischia, Italy. The destination ceremony fulfilled the couple's longtime vision of marrying abroad, though logistical hurdles ultimately shaped their plans.
Because Williams is not an Italian citizen, completing the legal paperwork in time proved difficult, prompting the couple to plan a second, stateside ceremony.
That second wedding took place in Palm Beach, Florida, in December, honoring Williams’ deep ties to the state where she trained and built much of her historic tennis career.
The Florida celebration unfolded over nearly a week and was organized by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events — the same planner who worked on Serena Williams’ 2017 wedding to Alexis Ohanian.
The Palm Beach festivities blended family, friends, and cultural crossover. Events included a bridal shower, multiple pool gatherings at the couple’s home, a yacht outing hosted by Serena, and a formal courthouse ceremony held early in the morning on December 19.
Williams wore a custom Morilee New York design for the courthouse wedding, then changed into a Georges Hobeika gown for the main ceremony.
“For me, the courthouse ceremony was very unique, emotional, and deep,” Preti told Vogue, calling it “the second-best day of my life.”
Music played a meaningful role throughout the celebration. Preti walked down the aisle to the Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There,” while Williams entered to “Ovunque Sarai” by the Italian artist Irama, a song tied to family memories.
After reading self-written vows — delivered in both English and Italian — the couple recessed to Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”
The pair later hosted an after-party at Sophia’s Hobe Sound, closing out the Florida celebration with late-night dancing alongside close friends and family.
Williams and Preti were first linked publicly in July 2024 after being spotted together in Italy. Engagement rumors followed months later, and Williams confirmed the news in July 2025 during a post-match interview.
